Consultancy on Safety and Health matters

  • Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA)

The Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) is an assessment that has to be conducted by the employer arising from the use, handling, storage or transportation of chemicals hazardous to health in their workplace as required by the Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standard of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health or USECHH) Regulation 2000. This assessment assist the employer in formulating the necessary measures for the safety and health protection of workers.

  • Machinery Licensing And Inspection – DOSH requirements

All certificated machinery such as boilers, unfired pressure vessels, lifting / hoisting equipment for lifting, raising or lowering load such as a lift, escalator, hoist, crane, etc. must be approved in term of design requirements, technical specifications, testing, and inspection. Lifting / Hoisting equipment refers to hoisting machine that uses the power of “power driven” like electricity, diesel, pneumatic and others, but does not include manual hoist and materials handling equipment.

Consultancy on Environmental matters

  • Written Approval For Fuel Burning Equipment (DOE requirement)

[Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulation 1978] Regulation 36 Erection of Fuel Burning Equipment – Any person intending to erect, install, resite or alter equipment, plant or facility used for the purpose of heating or generation of power that is rated to consume pulverised fuel or any solid fuel at 30 kg or more per hour, or any liquid or gaseous matter at 15 kg or more per hour, shall obtain prior Written Approval from Director General.

  • Written Approval For Erection of Chimney (DOE requirement)

[Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulation 1978] Regulation 38 Erection etc. of chimney – Any person intending to erect, install, resite or alter any chimney, from or through which air impurities may be emitted or discharge shall obtain prior Written Approval from Director General.
